Reaching out for help can be difficult

From research it appears that many students have physical and/or mental problems or are under severe strain. Not all in the student garden is rosy. Students also experience obstacles to reach out for help, such as shame and unawareness (of the severity) of their problem. And when students reach out for help, it often not at an early stage, causing unnecessary aggravation of problems.

For this reason the Student Doctors developed a website that offers students access to background information on the sort of problems that students encounter frequently and making help-seeking more easy. To find out if some kind of help can be useful to you look at our site.

On this website you find stories of students who experienced difficulty seeking help for their problem, compiled by the The Student Doctors. Perhaps you can relate to one or more of these stories and they can inspire you to take action when need
