De griepprik is dit jaar helaas later beschikbaar dan u van ons gewend bent. Door problemen in de productie en levering van de griepvaccins komt een deel van de voorraad voor Nederland later beschikbaar. Dit is een landelijk probleem.
Naar verwachting kunnen wij de griepprikken vanaf half november geven. Zodra de vaccins beschikbaar zijn, nodigen wij de patiënten die hiervoor in aanmerking komen tijdig uit. U hoeft hiervoor zelf geen contact met de praktijk op te nemen.
De griep komt vooral voor in de wintermaanden, met name tussen december en maart. Ondanks de vertraging is het daarom nog steeds zinvol om de griepprik te halen.
Wij vragen om uw begrip en houden u op de hoogte zodra de griepprikken beschikbaar zijn.

Unfortunately, the flu vaccine will be available later this year than you may be used to. Due to problems with the production and delivery of flu vaccines, part of the vaccine supply for the Netherlands will become available later than usual. This is a nationwide issue.
We expect to be able to administer the flu vaccinations from mid-November onwards. As soon as the vaccines are available, we will invite patients who are eligible for vaccination in good time. You do not need to contact the practice yourself.
Flu is most common during the winter months, particularly between December and March. Despite the delay, getting vaccinated is still worthwhile.
