We have several options for making an appointment. We’ve listed the possibilities here:
Appointment with the general practitioner
You can make an appointment with the doctor by calling us on 020-525 2878. One of our trained assistants will help you schedule a day and time. She will also ask you some questions about the reason for the appointment. If you’re already a registered patient you can also plan an appointment in our Webcalendar.
Telephone consultation
If you would like to speak to a doctor by phone it’s possible to schedule a telephone appointment. You can do this by contacting the practice or by filling out this form. All requests which are made before 12 pm (noon) can be processed the same day. When scheduled the doctor will call you back between 12pm and 2pm. They call anonymously.
Web Calendar
In our Webcalendar you can schedule an appointment online if you’re already registered as a patient in the practice. You can choose the doctor you prefer and check out the availability. If you have more than one issue you would like to see the doctor about or if you have a psychological complaint, please make sure to make a double appointment (two connecting time slots, so the appointment is 20 minutes instead of 10).
Sexually transmitted infections (STI) consultation
If you do not have any STI related complaints and have not received a warning from a sexual partner you can make an appointment for a STI consultation, either by phone or in the Web Calendar. If you do have complaints or a warning from a sexual partner you have to make an appointment with the doctor.
Vaccinations
We also give vaccinations and travelers advice, for example if you’re going on holiday. You can make an appointment for this type of consultation on the website www.reisprik.nl and choose us as a location. We recommend you schedule the appointment at least 3 weeks before you leave.
E-Consultation
You can also get in touch with one of the doctors by email. By filling out this form you can send us the consultation and we’ll process it as quickly as possible (maximum of 3 workdays).
Assistant hours
For blood withdrawal you can make an appointment at 020-525 2878. (Only if you have the right insurance, please check this with the assistant before walking in!).
For checking urine for a urinary tract infection, rinsing ears, wart treatment, removing stitches and injections you need to make an appointment. Please contact the practice at 020-525 2878 to do so.
Before the appointment
please make sure we have:
– A copy of your AON Certificate
OR
– A picture/copy of your European Health Insurance Card (the side with your personal information on it)
You can e-mail this to: studentenartsen@uva.nl before the appointment takes place otherwise we can not declare it with your insurance and you will need to pay.
